Mixing Instructions for HMG - 75 IU
- 1. Draw 2cc Bacteriostatic Water USP from vile.
- 2. Inject the Bacteriostatic Water into the HMG vial.
- 3. Gently swirl the vial around until the solution is completely clear. (Note: Do NOT shake-HMG is a delicate peptide and can lose potency if agitated.)
- 4. Once completed this will provide you with a concentration of 75 IU per/1cc and 3.75 IU per 10 units on the insulin needle. Note: 100 units would equate to 37.5 IU, and 200 units would equate to the total 75 IU.
- 5. HMG may be administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly, depending on protocol preference. Rotate injection sites to minimize irritation.
- 6. Note: Once HMG is reconstituted, it must be refrigerate and used within 30-45 days.
